Literally hopped off the train @ 4+ AM, into the dark ..! Whiled away about 3 hours brushing teeth by the track with drinking water, playing w frogs that DON'T HOP (o__o)

+ screaming whenever Big Brother (this srsly giant moth-like insect/ insect-like moth) started flapping its wings ...! then all the little insects hovering around the solitary light would go into a frenzy & everyone would start cowering

& then Shia tio first blood! LEECH @ THE STATION YOU TELL ME WTH OR NOT -__- think after that some people helped her revenge by squashing the leech with stones lololol

but eventually, we settled down to grab some breakfast + the more hardcore (quote Ms Lee) 赌鬼s whipped out cards to bridge/ daidi :D

Everyone was finding it super hard to swallow bite after bite bec it simply had NO TASTE AT ALL zzz. The girls were fighting for the tuna after watching the guys bravely polish off plain keezhang

Ugh my first & last keezhang of my life, eaten plain, PLAIN! x_____x the last few bites refused to go down ..!

AND FINALLY, the sky brightened a bit & chickens suddenly appeared on the tracks ..! We actually saw this rooster chasing a hen & the guys rushed after them, invade their privacy (srsly) kind hahaha!

Why did the chickens cross the track?

Jason:
One day a chicken & a cow escaped from a prison, and all that separated them from freedom was a road. The chicken turned to the cow & said:

Chicken: I've got to turn back now.
Cow: Why?

Took a chilly ride to National Park, where we did pasar malam & declared our items, then repacked & downloaded things we didn't need. Shia Cindy & I deposited our Nike bottles ..! SCAM AGAIN.

Mini lorries came to take us to base camp, about twenty minutes away. Wahlao Ms Lee said last time people used to walk in ...? (scam) Damn a lot of slopes & the driver was going so quickly all of us were screaming & laughing @ ourselves screaming but the ride was rly enjoyable :D cheap thrills luh ..!

& meanwhile, hello to Junhao & Kokswee, braving the wind & branches & shit w/o any shelter whatsoever ..!

Then we started our journey, did nothing but walk for about five, six hours?

2 hours into Tahan (: Haoyi, Shia, Kokswee, Pmz, Jason, Cindy

Srsly damn a lot of leeches, even more than Kuala Lipis but strangely, I neh tio for the first three hours :D all of them went to Kokswee, Ms Lee & Yi'an, while I was sandwiched between Swee & Yi'an

And then after that we met up w this scorpion nesting in between the tree roots on an upslope ..! Jason accidentally kicked the root it was resting against & its tail cocked towards me x_x

Final river! It was here that Kokswee almost got washed away o_o

Reached our second checkpoint almost an hour behind schedule (acc. to Ms Lee) but IT DIDN'T DETER US FR CAMWHORING ;D

In total we crossed about 4 rivers (where we actually got our feet wet) & about 2 where we stepped stones only:

After the last river people started cramping up @ the upslope, witnessed (& participated in) people getting violated (quote Justin: Don't think of it that way!) Got quite tired along the way except for Ms Gao, who was @ the back clapping hands & singing song ..! Her energy was like -__-

Lagged behind everyone else w Shia, Ms Gao & Mr Ong (our guide, who always takes his time but ends up right behind us whenever we need him :D) & then @ the last stretch, we saw Haoyi:

Trekked the remaining hour to Kem Kor. Can't tell you how relieved/ happy I was to see the campsite ..! srsly @ that moment nothing looked more beautiful x_x

Ms Lee swept the girls upstream to take cold dip for our muscles, wahji couldn't stop screaming the water was like AND0126R3GFBDMFN DAMN COLD LUH! but rly shiok. Went in full body then stripped & changed on the trail further up

(& we have a deep, dark secret ..! :O)

Went back for dinner, pasta w campbell soup & GIANT BROCCOLI (hahaha!)

Ms Lee: Ey yall know how to cut broccoli or not?!

Sat around waiting for the food to cook, & watched people eat the best meal of their lives:

Most of the broccoli went to Haoyi, Justin & Pmz (!!). Even CK dumped all the huge pieces to me ..! So hard to chew x_x after a while, Justin was taking five minutes to finish off one chunk:

Washed up our utensils, & kept the stoves. The pot was burnt ..! so Yi'an Cindy & I scrubbed it w stones:

Later we gathered on the tarp to share reflections, & 赏星. The sky was so pretty ..!
