say if ever for some reason my law degree doesn't work out i suppose i need not fret! can always make a switch into the illusionary arts u kno y? bec my disappearing acts are phenomenal *ugly laughter*

but anyway

VERY MUCH HAS HAPPENED since the last substantial update! 2014 has so far been a whirlwind, & hall life has been very exciting, for those who have been asking ( ´▽` )

quick throwback since the last post— granted i was a hermit for much of sem 1 so the good stuff only started during winter break & world cup, and a lot of happenings don't seem very significant now that so much time has passed.

✰ 07 ✰ world cup madness incl. cheesecake factory w the bunch
✰ 12/08 ✰ car shopping!!!
✰ 14/08 ✰ walked away with highest heels at briggs ball ♕
✰ 16/08 ✰ rare meet-up & lunch with the psych girls
✰ 6/09 ✰ woke up at 4:30AM for 1 of 5 black truffle croissants, what even is my life?!
✰ 16/09 ✰ set a new record spending nearly 3.5 hours on an impromptu grocery run
✰ 21/09 ✰ 8:30AM start for doughboys & impromptu brunch courtesy of zee (¬_¬)
✰ 27/09 ✰ late-night double D pancake date! the banana flambé was divine ♡
✰ 30/09 ✰ 90-min drive up to & stayover in the country at lauren's! + first encounter w hail :o
✰ 05/10 ✰ first city drive :B + brunch & dfo with the bunchies
✰ 12/10 ✰ blessed 22nd hatch-day to me! (´ᴗ`-)♡

got a message on 8/10 from this lovely lady announcing her imminent arrival (๑´ᴗ`๑) was super essites bec finally! a face from home!!! more importantly a face from dunman!!!! *happy jigs*

well lingalall's here & had the honour of being my first airport pick-up :B i've had plenty of firsts this year since getting my jazz on, & lemme tell you getting to tullamarine was such an adventure!!? even though i'd spent a while familiarising myself w google maps i still managed to miss a turnoff into a freeway (◡_◡)
PLUS!!!!!
accidentally ran in a red light in the process D; in what i think must've been a red light camera zone? i hope i don't get a fine in my mailbox...! *religiously checks every day*

also if i've never mentioned how much i absolutely hate start-stop traffic then i shall whinge about it now ugh. mostly when slopes are involved! and especially in a stick shift!!! stressful driving indeed! the upside is i am getting much better, and i don't quite dread uphills so much now #silverlining though avoidance is always an option bahaha. but of course i still have those occasional drives where i have enough heart to give exactly 0 fucks re unhealthy engine revs.... thankfully few & far between and only on bad days (ノ Д \ )

anyhow... originally had plans for the breakfast club up in northcote bec A+ name, but they like most places close at 4pm esp on weekends. so made do with a hole-in-the-wall! not too bad, though the coffee snob in me is p sure i've had better elsewhere :|

banana waffles with pistachio i/c! + mocha

i rly wanted the ricotta pancakes, but they didn't have them that day ☹ which i found a lil strange bec one of the specials was apparently baked ricotta, but the waffle came with milk choc cubes so i can't complain~
